Tempura is a delicate Japanese dish where fresh, seasonal ingredients are lightly coated and fried to perfection. In the welcoming kitchen of a skilled instructor, you will learn the art of preparing tempura while experiencing the warmth of a Japanese home. This hands-on experience offers a chance to explore the subtle flavors that enhance each ingredient, the seasonal colors that bring dishes to life, and the thoughtful balance that defines Japanese culinary traditions.
Along with your tempura, you’ll also create a soup and seasonal side dishes to enjoy.

  • Max group size: approximately 6 people (A large group may be divided into multiple smaller groups)
  • The same rate applicable to children. (Children under 3 years old are not allowed to participate in our home visit programs.)
  • Interpreting services for languages other than English are available upon request. (An additional fee is required.)
  • A full charge is required for an observer.
  • The activity time may be shorter if you arrive late.
  • If you have food allergies or diary restrictions, please inform us in advance.(Please note that if you have severe allergies, you will not be able to participate.)
  • Please let us know the hotel where you plan to stay in advance.
