Guidance
Welcome to Wakwak-kan
Wakwak-kan (Takakura-Nijo) is situated near the Kyoto Imperial Palace, in an area where the historic ambiance and street names reflect Kyoto's rich history. The name Wakwak-kan (Takakura-Nijo), located in Tenshu-cho, is believed to be derived from a church of the Tenshu sect from the 16th century.
Among modern high-rise condos, you can still find historic buildings like Wakwak-kan (Takakura-Nijo). Preserving these historical structures for future generations is a major concern in Kyoto. Our commitment is to maintain Wakwak-kan (Takakura-Nijo) and continue offering traditional Japanese cultural experiences as long as WAK JAPAN exists.
