Simplified Japanese Book binding (Private)
This is a hands-on program where you create a book using hand-dyed washi paper for the cover, inspired by Kyoto’s traditional Yuzen dyeing techniques, and bind the inner pages together with paper cord. Because no needles are used, it is safe and easy for everyone to enjoy—from children to seniors.
You can choose your favorite washi paper and paper cord to make a diary for writing down cherished words or a sketchbook for capturing your thoughts and ideas. This elegant volume adds a special touch to everyday life and also makes a perfect gift.
