This is one of the WAK JAPAN’s original programs featuring Tea Ceremony in formal Kimono at an instructor’s home.
This program features an authentic tea ceremony at an instructor’s home under the instruction by a tea expert. You can get acquainted with the world of tea ceremony in a tranquil private space.
You can wear a gorgeous formal kimono and have your special photo taken in the tea house or the beautiful garden. It would be an unforgettable memory in Kyoto.

Notes on reservation
- Max group size: approximately 6 people (A large group may be divided into multiple smaller groups)
- The same rate applicable to children. (Children under 3 years old are not allowed to participate in our home visit programs.)
- Interpreting services for languages other than English are available upon request. (An additional fee is required.)
- A full charge is required for an observer.
- The activity time may be shorter if you arrive late.
- In order to prepare the kimono, please let us know your gender and height in advance.
